The United States Postal Service is an independent federal establishment, mandated to be self-financing and to serve every American community through the affordable, reliable, and secure delivery of mail and packages to 167 million addresses six, and often seven days a week. The Postal Service generally receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products, and services to fund its operations.

Florence Corporation has set the design standard for all cluster box units (CBUs) manufactured in the US and served on the board that helped develop the new STD-4C. Florence has been recognized over the years by the USPS with six different awards for Supplier Excellence, Supplier Quality, and Supplier Innovation.

National Postal Musuem

The National Postal Museum is devoted to presenting the colorful and engaging history of the nation's mail service and showcasing one of the largest and most comprehensive collections of stamps and philatelic material in the world. This Smithsonian museum is located in Washington DC and is open every day except Dec 25. Florence Corporation has been a proud supporter of the museum.
