Gibraltar Industries
In 2007, the Florence Corporation was acquired by Gibraltar Industries. GIBRALTAR is a leading manufacturer and distributor of products for building markets. Gibraltar serves a large number of customers in a variety of industries in all 50 states and throughout the world from facilities in the United States, Canada, England, Germany, and Poland. Gibraltar's common stock is a component of the S&P SmallCap 600 and the Russell 2000® Index.

United States Postal Service (USPS)
The Postal Service fuels the nation's economy and delivers hundreds of millions of messages and billions of dollars in financial transactions each day to eight million businesses and 250 million Americans. The Postal Service is making history, too, as it helps lead the way in making the federal government more businesslike and responsive to customer needs. Florence Manufacturing currently has seven exclusive equipment contracts with the USPS - including the outdoor delivery equipment, and has set the design standard for all cluster box units manufactured in the US. Florence has also been recognized by the USPS for Supplier Excellence, Supplier Quality, and Supplier Innovation in five of the last eight years.

United States Postal Inspection Service
The mission of the United States Postal Inspection Service is to protect the U.S. Postal Service, its employees and its customers from criminal attack, and protect the nation's mail system from criminal misuse. Florence Manufacturing designed its High Security CBU for the Postal Inspection Service.


Association Affiliations

American Institute of Architects (AIA)
Since 1857, the AIA has represented the professional interests of America's architects. As AIA members, over 80,000 licensed architects, emerging professionals, and allied partners express their commitment to excellence in design and livability in our nation's buildings and communities. Florence Manufacturing is an affiliate member of AIA and has been an exhibitor at the AIA Conference. Florence Manufacturing also has an accredited module for AIA members to receive continuing education credits.

American Planning Association (APA)
APA is a nonprofit education and membership organization for practicing planners, planning students, elected and appointed officials, planning commissioners, and interested citizens. APA provides leadership in the development of vital communities. Florence Manufacturing is a member of APA and has exhibited at its Annual Conference.

APPA Leadership in Educational Facilities 
APPA promotes excellence in all phases of educational facilities management.  While its name has changed over the years to reflect the expanding responsibilities of facilities management departments, it has spent nearly 100 years applying experience, focus, and the power of member collaboration to its driving purpose:  Elevating facilities professionals into influential leaders in education. Florence Manufacturing is a proud member of APPA.

Door and Hardware Institute (DHI)
The Door and Hardware Institute (DHI) is the only professional association dedicated to the Architectural Openings Industry. With the purpose of advancing life safety and security within the built environment, DHI represents the North American openings marketplace as the advocate and primary resource for information, professional development and certification. Florence Manufacturing is a proud member of DHI.

International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA)
Founded in 1918, IAAPA is the largest international trade association for permanently situated amusement facilities worldwide. IAAPA strives to help members improve their efficiency, marketing, safety, and profitability while maintaining the highest possible professional standards in the industry. Florence Manufacturing is a proud members of IAAPA.

Material Handling Industry of America (MHIA)
The Material Handling Industry of America (MHIA) is the largest U.S. material handling & logistics association representing the leading providers of material handling & logistics solutions. Solutions that make the supply chain work. Florence Manufacturing is a proud member of MHIA.

National Apartment Association (NAA)
The National Apartment Association (NAA) is America's leading advocate for quality rental housing. NAA's mission is to serve the interests of multifamily owners, managers, developers and suppliers and maintain a high level of professionalism in the multifamily industry to better serve the rental housing needs of the public. Florence Manufacturing is proud to be a sponsor of The National Apartment Association Education Institute (NAAEI) - the education and research arm of the NAA. In addition, Florence Manufacturing is a member of NAA, serves on the NSC (National Supplier Council) and has exhibited at the NAA Conference.

National Association of College and University Mail Services (NACUMS)
The National Association of College and University Mail Services (NACUMS) is a non-partisan, non-profit organization dedicated to serving the interests of college and university mailers which was formed in August 1995.  Florence Manufacturing is a proud member of NACUMS. 

National Association of Home Builders (NAHB)
The National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) is a trade association that helps promote the policies that make housing a national priority. Since 1942, NAHB has been serving its members, the housing industry, and the public at large. Florence Manufacturing has exhibited at the IBS Show.

National Association of Housing and Redevelopment Officials (NAHRO)
NAHRO is the leading housing and community development advocate for the provision of adequate and affordable housing and strong, viable communities for all Americans; particularly those with low- and moderate-incomes. Its members administer HUD programs such as Public Housing, Section 8, CDBG and HOME.  Florence Manufacturing has exhibited at the NAHRO Conference and is a member of its e-procurement system, the Economic Engine program.

National League of Postmasters (NLP)
Since 1887, the National League of Postmasters has distinguished itself as the premiere, professional organization for Postmasters. Today, it is still representing the interests of Postmasters and their families and their employer in a manner that brings credit to itself and all those who proudly proclaim membership. Florence Manufacturing has exhibited at and been a proud sponsor at the NLP Conference.

National Postal Forum (NPF)
The National Postal Forum (NPF) a not-for-profit educational corporation, was established in 1968 by a group of major postal customers/mailers who were committed to an ongoing partnership with the United States Postal Service. The Forum's goal then-as now has been to provide education to business mailers and communication/feed-back between the USPS and its business customers for a more responsive and efficient mail communications system. Florence Manufacturing has exhibited at and been a proud sponsor at the annual NPF Conference each Spring.

Project for Public Spaces (PPS)
Project for Public Spaces is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping people create and sustain public spaces that build stronger communities. Founded in 1975, PPS embraces the insights of William (Holly) Whyte, a pioneer in understanding the way people use public spaces. Today, PPS has become an internationally recognized center for best-practices, information, and resources about Placemaking. Florence Manufacturing is a proud member of PPS.

Worldwide Do-it-yourself Council (WDIYC)
The Council is comprised of some 100 manufacturers who are, first of all, leading manufacturers serving their own national markets, but who also are active exporters. Membership in the Council is limited to manufacturers from the United States and Canada. Their brand names are highly respected and in many cases are the #1 or #2 brand in their respective countries. Florence Manufacturing is a proud member of WDIYC.
