vigilant™ 1565 High Security Cluster Box Unit
|
The Florence vigilant™ 1565 series high security cluster box unit was
designed specifically for the U.S. Postal Inspection Service. Built to combat
mail theft and reduce break-in damage in high crime areas, its robust
security features make the vigilant™ HSCBU incredibly secure. Available
exclusively from an Authorized Florence Dealer, this product line is an
extension of our already strong vital™ CBU series with the benefit of
additional tamper resistant features. Give your neighborhood that extra

Standard Features:
- Robotically welded cabinet and hood seams
- Rugged, weather resistant powder coat finish resists scratching and vandalism
- Constructed of 300 series stainless steel and aircraft aluminum, including aluminum pedestal
- Master front loading door designed to prevent prying with interlocking overlap seams
- Solid aluminum mail slot frame protects adjacent customer compartment and collection compartment
- Silver adhesive metal placards with black numbers 1-16 and 1P-2P
- Unique HSCBU Features:
- Thicker, reinforced gate
- Special security collar on all compartment locks
- Heavier gauge aluminum cabinet wrapper
- Larger diameter 1/4” hinge rod on all doors
- Reinforced shelf above and below the carrier access door to deter break-ins
- Stainless steel parcel door hinge for
added strength

Universal Replacement Pedestals - Replacement Pedestal for Obsolete NDCBU
The Universal Replacement Pedestal is designed to be used
for replacement purposes on older Neighborhood Delivery
Collection Box Units (NDCBU) in order to extend their life
and functionality. Constructed of aluminum, the universal top
plate will accommodate most models of NDCBU, regardless of
original manufacturer, and are available in postal grey powder
coat finish only. Florence Manufacturing is proud to be the sole
supplier of pedestals to the USPS since being awarded the
USPS Outdoor Delivery Equipment contract in 2005.
